VIVAYZIO® (somniclarin sodium) is a prescription medicine used to treat moderate to severe chronic sleep inertia syndrome (CSIS) in adults.
Tell your doctor about all the medicines you take, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.
VIVAYZIO may cause mood changes including agitation, aggression, irritability, and in rare cases, hallucinations during the wake-transition period. Call your doctor right away if you notice any changes in mood or behavior.
Increases in resting heart rate of 5–12 bpm were observed in clinical trials. Patients with pre-existing cardiovascular conditions should be monitored.
Some patients experienced complex sleep behaviors, including sleep-walking, sleep-driving, and engaging in other activities while not fully awake, with no memory of the event. Discontinue VIVAYZIO and contact your doctor immediately if this occurs.
Seek emergency medical attention if you experience swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, difficulty breathing, or severe rash.
